A first of its kind in the Greater Sacramento region, our Cultivate Sacramento inaugural event will bring together top community leaders and culinary experts who are dedicated to bettering the lives of our urban and rural communities. With an emphasis on the role nutrition plays in both cancer prevention and a patient’s journey, this year-round initiative will aim to partner with local companies and organizations to bring a suite of resources to those battling food security within our local community.
Debuting in April 2025, our annual Cultivate event promises to be one of Sacramento’s premier farm-to-fork culinary experiences, celebrating our region’s rich agricultural bounty and outstanding local cuisine. Guests will embark on a delectable journey, savoring signature dishes crafted by renowned Sacramento chefs using the finest locally sourced ingredients as we celebrate our collective impact and partnerships.
We’re proud to co-chair Cultivate because Sacramento’s culinary innovation is unmatched. Our region pulses with world-class chefs, innovative restaurateurs, sustainable farmers, food technology pioneers, and groundbreaking health systems. Paired with ACS’s bold purpose to end cancer as we know it for everyone, the question becomes simple: why not Sacramento? Through Cultivate, we’re reimagining how nutrition can transform cancer care across America.

We believe no one should be disadvantaged in their fight against cancer because of how much money they make, the color of their skin, or where they live. Every cancer. Every life.
