Cultivate is the American Cancer Society’s newest campaign for our Greater Sacramento Region, strengthening the full range of cancer support for patients and families in our community. Join us in advancing the mission critical work through our annual culinary event —where community, compassion, and commitment come together to save lives. Together, we honor survivors, remember loved ones, and fuel the breakthroughs that will end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
Following its successful debut in 2025, the 2026 Cultivate event returns as one of Sacramento’s premier farm-to-fork culinary experiences. The evening will celebrate the progress the American Cancer Society has made in the fight against cancer and the hope that continues to cultivate stronger, healthier communities. Guests will enjoy a vibrant evening featuring signature dishes from renowned local chefs, each showcasing the region’s agricultural richness through innovative, cancer-fighting ingredients.
We’re proud to co-chair Cultivate because Sacramento’s culinary innovation is unmatched. Our region pulses with world-class chefs, innovative restaurateurs, sustainable farmers, food technology pioneers, and groundbreaking health systems. Paired with ACS’s bold purpose to end cancer as we know it for everyone, the question becomes simple: why not Sacramento? Through Cultivate, we’re reimagining how nutrition can transform cancer care across America.
The American Cancer Society is a global, grassroots organization driven by science, best practice, and more than 1.5 million volunteers. Our mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
We fulfill our mission by funding research, providing patients with information, improving access to care, prevention, treatment, and through advocacy.
Cancer is a disease that affects everyone, but doesn’t affect everyone equally, and we are committed to providing everyone a fair and just opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive cancer. We believe no one should be disadvantaged in their fight against cancer because of how much money they make, the color of their skin, or where they live. Every cancer. Every life.
Learn MoreFor more than 10 decades, the American Cancer Society has been dedicated to pursuing better outcomes for every cancer, every life. Today, more people are surviving cancer than ever before, but there is still work to be done. Join us, support us, and help us end cancer as we know it, for everyone.
